This doll is crafted based on Ruby (Ten Ping)’s cherished memories of attending her brother Jianguo’s wedding banquet in the winter of 1959. Ruby brings history to life in this limited edition doll. 

To attend the ceremony, Ten Ping borrowed the most fashionable item of the time from her best friend GiGi: a small floral-print shirt. Her upper half looked fresh and sharp, but her lower half was still clad in old pants.... What happened next?

Items included: Nude doll with makeup, wig, shirt, pants, apron, under-pants, socks, shoes, earrings, beaded bracelet, red basket set with 6 wedding cakes and 2 plates, and a mini storybook featuring the complete story narrated by Ruby (Ten Ping).
